Knockback has finally been fixed, Breathswap, and Breaths showcase
Hellllooooo gamers how’s it going
Anyways, More new updates on the game’s development delivered right at your door!
So, first off, thanks to some help on the GameMaker fourms, I have gotten the knockback system to work as intended! Footage below is quite old, since I have made changes to it, but enemies (and Mimo too) can finally get pushed back whenever they’re hit by something.
More importantly, I have been anticipating to get this added in a while, but the breathswap mechanic is finally added to the game!
Because of this, Mimosa is now able to use different breaths without having to stick to his normal one. However, they do have their flaws though. Here’s a showcase of what breaths I’ve added so far:
I’m prioritizing on adding the ones that only require simple changes to the base breath code. The rest require that I need help one.
Edit: A new playlist has been made to show off all of the non-default breaths added in so far.
That’s all for now. Have a goed day.
